Order Payment

After you have selected your item/s you will need to click on ‘My Cart’ or ‘Checkout’ to confirm and pay for your order. Once you click through to pay you will be required to sign in (for all existing customers) or to create an account (for all new customers). Creating an account makes the ordering process a lot quicker for future orders and allows you to access order history and order tracking.

Payments can be made by MasterCard, Visa or American Express (processed by Shopify Payments), PayPal or the payment Apps Apple Pay, Google Pay or ShopPay.

Available Secure Payment Options
If Shopify Payments flags your order/payment for any level of fraud risk, the payment will not be processed [captured] and the order will be automatically cancelled. You will receive and automated email advising you of the situation. The following are just some of the factors that can trigger fraud suspicion with the payment processor:
  • attempted payment with more than one card. If your card is declined, please adjust the limit/balance and re-try with the same card, multiple cards will trigger the fraud alert,
  • email addresses and IP addresses stored in Shopify as previosuly fraudulent or suspicious,
  • IP Addresses located outside of Australia, or blocked by a VPN,
  • If you have processed a chargeback with us previously.

Order Confirmation

Once your order has been processed you will receive an automated confirmation email from us. If you do not receive this within minutes of your order, please check your junk/spam folder to see if its there. Possibly add service@outdoorestore.com.au to your safe senders list. If you still don't have your order confirmation email, this is an indication of:

  1. your email address was mis-typed or incorrect, or
  2. you didn't 'check out' all the way through the cart process, or
  3. your payment didn't go through.

Check your credit card account to see if the order payment is pending, if not that's an indication the order was not successfully processed.

If you created an account, please login here and check your email address is correct. 

Alternatively, please email service@outdoorestore.com.au and we will take a look, during AEST business hours, and work out what went wrong and resend your confirmation.

Order Tracking

You will receive an email  notification from us once your order has been lodged with Australia Post; you may also receive an email from Australia Post advising they have your parcel and its tracking number once they collect it from us. Tracking of orders can also be viewed using ‘My Account’ on our website.

We send all parcels via eParcel, with signature on delivery, to ensure you receive your parcel. You can track, and possibly re-direct, arrange a safe drop location or parcel locker drop all through the website or Australia Post Phone App.

Out of stock items

Any items that are out of stock will be displayed on that particular product on the website and purchase should be blocked. If for any reason the item runs out of stock before being displayed you will be notified and arrangements will be made to refund or exchange your item/s. As we sell on multiple channels (web, ebay, social media, live events/expos) this can sometimes occur, we do apologise if this happens.

Pre-Order and Special Order items

We do make some items available for pre-purchase or special order. These may be items not typically carried in stock, or a special order for an item not stocked in Australia, or even for a specially ordered part or spare. Where this is activated, the 'add to cart' button will say 'Pre-Order' and there will be some information regarding lead times and delivery. This information is passed on from what is provided by the local distributor and may vary or be subject to change - all of which is out of our control. 

Pre-Orders and Special Order items require payment in full at the time of ordering, as we cannot cancel these orders with our suppliers once we have made them.

Pricing

All prices are updated daily from our accounting system and are assumed to be correct at the time of publishing, errors and omissions accepted. This is an automated system and errors can occur and go unnoticed, obvious errors will be refunded. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
